The season got off to a rocky start for both Florida State and Georgia on Saturday.
For Florida State, the Seminoles suffered a 24-7 shellacking at the hands of No. 1 Alabama. The news worsened for FSU today when it was discovered that starting quarterback Deondre Francois will miss the entire rest of the season with a patella tendon injury:

The severity of Jacob Eason’s injury at Georgia is not known at this time. Following the Bulldog’s 31-10 win over Appalachian State, head coach Kirby Smart said the injury was likely a knee sprain:
Kirby Smart: "Jacob Eason has a sprained knee."
Adds that he doesn't know how long he will be out for.

If it is indeed a sprain, Eason will almost certainly be out of action for several weeks.
