LEXINGTON, Ky. — University of Kentucky true freshman punter Landon Foster has been honored as Honorable Mention Punter of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards, based on his efforts vs. Arkansas on Saturday.
Foster punted eight times in the game for an average of 48.4 yards, which was the second-highest average of the season for the true freshman. Foster launched four punts over 50 yards, including a career-best 58-yarder. Foster pinned Arkansas inside its own 20-yard line once in the game.
Foster, from Franklin, Tenn., has been chosen Honorable Mention Punter of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards four times this season, also for the Louisville, Kent State and Mississippi State games.
