A couple of former Kentucky Wildcats had rough days on the injury front as one is out for the season.
Corey Peters, who just recently signed a 3 year contract with the Arizona Cardinals, tore his achilles tendon today and will be out for the season.
Coach Bruce Arians announced Thursday that defensive tackle Corey Peters suffered a torn left Achilles tendon in Wednesday’s practice and is out for the year.
Peters, 27, spent his first five seasons with the Falcons before signing a three-year, $10.5 million deal with the Cardinals in March. This is the second major Achilles injury for Peters, who tore the tendon in his right leg late in the 2013 season.

Also, in the Detroit Lions preseason game tonight Larry Warford went down with an ankle injury.
Larry Warford appeared to get shook up Abdullah's run last series, got bent back awkwardly on a downfield block.

Larry Warford has an ankle injury. Officially questionable, but obviously won't be back in this game
