Former Kentucky Mr. Football D’Mauriae VanCleave and FCS school Wofford were never going to go into Clemson and beat the No. 4 Tigers, but that didn’t keep VanCleave from producing a big highlight.
Late in the third quarter, the former Danville speedster found himself open behind the Clemson defense and sprinted to the end zone for a 79-yard touchdown:

VanCleave is having a big season for the Terriers. He has 25 carries for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns. From his slot receiver position, he is leading the team with 16 receptions for 278 yards and 3 scores.
He has also returned 8 punts for 194 yards and a touchdown. Lastly, he has returned 2 kickoffs for 50 yards.
Clemson won today’s game 59-14.
