Former Iowa, Kentucky and Cincinnati guard CJ Fredrick announced his retirement from basketball on Wednesday.
Fredrick transferred to Cincinnati from Kentucky after the 2022-23 season. He averaged 1.3 points for the Bearcats this season.
“Man what a ride,” Fredrick said in a social media post this afternoon. “This game has given more to me than I could ever imagine.”
