Cauley-Stein played in 20 games for the Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers during the 2021-22 season. He averaged 1.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. He spent time in the NBA G League with Rio Grande Valley during the 2022-23 season. He averaged 8.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
