Saturday night in The Swamp was not an enjoyable experience for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Freshman running back Jaden Baugh scored 5 touchdowns, which tied a record held by Tim Tebow, to lead the Gators (4-3) to a 48-20 victory over the Cats (3-4). Baugh finished with 22 carries for 109 yards.
Another freshman, five-star quarterback DJ Lagway took over for Graham Mertz, who suffered a season-ending injury last week. Lagway completed 7-of-14 passes for 259 yards.

On the other side, Brock Vandagriff was just 12-for-26 for Kentucky, finishing with 165 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
Freshman Cutter Boley was thrown into the mix late. He went 0-for-6 and threw a pick six on his first career pass.
The only highlight for the Wildcats was a 99-yard kickoff return touchdown by Barion Brown to set a new SEC record with 5 in his career.
