It looks like we are witnessing the first “holdout” by a college football player due to NIL issues.
Five-star quarterback Jaden Rashada has not enrolled at Florida due to a problem with NIL.
According to reports, an NIL deal was not honored and Florida is in serious danger of losing Rashada:
Florida appears to be on the brink of losing Rashada after an NIL agreement was not honored, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
That agreement is estimated to be worth around $13 million, per the report.
The report adds that the situation between Rashada and Florida is “beyond repair.”
