Sneaker News gave fans an exclusive first look at Devin Booker’s new Nike BOOK 1 signature shoe this afternoon.
According to Sneaker News, “his BOOK 1 signature shoe mirrors that old school appeal and desire to walk off the beaten path as the shoes clearly connect with the early 1980s era aesthetic of Nike Basketball.”

According to Sneaker News:
His BOOK 1 signature shoe mirrors that old school appeal and desire to walk off the beaten path as the shoes clearly connect with the early 1980s era aesthetic of Nike Basketball. Clearly there’s a bit of the Air Force 1 on a 3/4 cut height, but overall the BOOK 1 acts as an homage to that revolutionary period. A newly revealed BOOK1 logo appears on the tongue, while ’96 — his birth year — proudly sits on the heel pull-tab. The Black/Hemp/Metallic Red Bronze colorway is one of several expected to release next year.
In addition to the BOOK 1 is a new model that is tentatively called the Craftsman and currently intended for a 2025 release. The uppermost lace eyelet also reads “BOOK”, but as of now there is no clear connection between this model and Devin. Release information for Devin Booker’s Nike BOOK 1 have not been revealed, but a release is confirmed for next year, or possibly during the Holiday 2023 season.
