Fayette County Public Schools announced this afternoon that they are cancelling all sports practices scheduled for Monday.
Following Thursday’s KHSAA decision, many schools already had practices scheduled for Monday.
FCPS put out this statement:
Here we go again. Getting a vote of progress from the KHSAA means nothing. Make a decision and stick with it. If we’re going to play, let’s play or shut it down. It’s a tug-of-war of emotion. You can’t keep going back and forth on a daily basis and expect progress. pic.twitter.com/c9FBaLmHpJ

There are rumors online about FCPS possibly cancelling their first first games of the season:
Had a source tell me Fayette Co. Athletic Directors had a meeting to discuss cancelling the first game of the season (Sept.). As of Friday evening, Henry Clay has been the only school to cancel its first two games against Pulaski Co. and Frederick Douglass.
