ESPN NBA Draft expert Chad Ford talked about Kentucky’s Devin Booker, Karl-Anthony Towns and Willie Cauley-Stein’s draft stock during his weekly chat.
Is Devin booker moving up draft board ?
Chad Ford
Sure. There aren’t a lot of great shooters in the draft and Booker has the potential to be one. He got off to a slow start at UK, but he’s been on fire lately. If he can keep shooting at a 40 plus percent clip all year, not only do the Wildcats become even that much tougher, but he can work his way into the first round.Karl Towns looks like he’s the best shot-blocker at UK – ahead of WCS. His stock must be soaring – even considering his relative few points.
Chad Ford
Hes’ been a Top 3 guy all year and I doubt that changes. He has been and will remain in the mix for the No. 1 pick. He’s special.Chad when watching WCS I see physical talent but not basketball intelligence. Do you see WCS still as a lottery guy?
Chad Ford
He’s got freaky speed and agility for a player his size. And he has a skill, shot blocking, that will translate. It’s the head part that keeps him from being a Top 10 pick.
