What started as a slow weekend for UK News, ended with a bang when Coach Calipari announced via facebook that Sophmore guard Darnell Dodson would not play with the team this year. Dodson is academically eligible, he just failed to meet the standards set by the University and Coach Cal. He can return to the team when/if he decides to meet those standards.
Joker also makes news with UK Football’s annual cornhole tournament. Randall Cobb has won it the last two years but this time he lost in the first round. Tyler Wyndham and Coach Chuck Smith managed to defeat Moncell Allen and Gabe Cornell in the championship match to be crowned this years champions.
