Florida Atlantic head coach Dusty May is headed to Michigan instead of Louisville.
According to reports, May went back and forth on the decision until the last minute.
Here are more details from Adrian Wojnarowski:
May became swept away with the alumni network and its fierce loyalty to the university and athletics, sources said. His belief is that that will help transcend some of the inherently transactional nature of the modern NIL/transfer portal era in recruiting and player retention.

Sounds like Dusty May labored until the last minute whether to go with Michigan or Louisville. Louisville would love Scott Drew but I don’t think that’s a possibility. Where does Louisville go next? Jamie Dixon? Mark Byington?

Where does Louisville look next?
According to Eric Crawford of WDRB, they could take a look at Shaheen Holloway or Pat Kelsey.
Now, attention turns to another young candidate — Seton Hall’s Shaheen Holloway, who took the job at his alma mater two seasons ago after upsetting Kentucky and leading Saint Peters’ to a surprise trip to the Elite Eight.
Sources say Louisville also has been impressed with College of Charleston coach Pat Kelsey.
