Back in August while Drew Barker was in Lexington for the annual Kentucky Fan Day, he sent out a tweet about being in Mark Stoops car and the tweet was taken as if Barker was driving the car.
Here is the original tweet.

Steve Jones of the Courier-Journal wrote an article this morning explaining what happened that day.
Here is an excerpt from the article.
Barker, a four-star quarterback from Conner High School, said the tweet on Aug. 9 was sent during his unofficial visit to Lexington for the team’s Fan Day. He said UK recruiting director Dan Berezowitz drove him and fellow commitment Kentucky commitment T.V. Williams from the Nutter Training Facility to Commonwealth Stadium to watch the Wildcats’ public practice.
“I tweeted it out this summer, and I guess nobody really thought of it until the Kevin Ware thing,” Barker said. “What happened was I was riding in it – I didn’t drive it – on Fan Day, and I was with Coach Berezowitz. He drove us over to the football stadium in Coach’s car. Me and T.V. were riding in it. We didn’t drive it.”
A UK spokesman also told Courier-Journal columnist Tim Sullivan last month that no recruiting prospects have driven Stoops’ car.
