Doug Gottlieb of Fox Sports has an interesting take on PJ Washington’s injury.
According to Gottlieb, Kentucky essentially won the 2012 national title due to an unfortunate injury to North Carolina’s Kendall Marshall.
Now, the “cosmos” have balanced out:
UNC has the best team in 2012 IMO, lost Kendall Marshall on a borderline dirty play by Creighton. Never got another shot at Kentucky in the Final Four. If PJ Washington is out for UK it took 7 years for the cosmos to balance out!

Gottlieb sure seems happy that a college kid has suffered an injury going into the NCAA Tournament.
As one might expect, Gottlieb is taking some heat on Twitter:
@GottliebShow What an ugly and asinine comment. You should be drummed out of the business. Davis was the best freshman ever, including Zion, and NC would have gotten routed the second time to boot.

So, Doug Gottlieb, a sports analyst, insinuates he’s glad a player got hurt bc it balances out something that happened to a different team 7 years ago. Questionable morals and weak logic. https://t.co/i42sPLGArZ

When Doug needs some attention he makes some ignorant UK remark.Yesterday it was UCLA is going to pay Cal $10,000,000 a year, today it's this crazy comment where he's ecstatic P.J. Washington is hurt.Who knows what wacky comment he'll come up with tomorrow.
