Doron Lamb Is Headed To Turkey

Former Kentucky guard Doron Lamb will continue his professional basketball career in Turkey.

Lamb, who spent last season in Greece, has signed with Darussafaka Istanbul in Turkey’s top-level BSL league.

Darussafaka Istanbul (BSL) signed 27-year old American (has also Panamanian passport) guard Doron Lamb (193-95kg-91, college: Kentucky). He has played for the last two seasons at GS Lavrio Aegean Cargo in Greek A1 league. In 26 games he was third best scorer with 14.2ppg and averaged 2.8rpg and 2.5apg last season. Quite impressive year as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 Honorable Mention.

In 2012 Lamb was drafted by ? Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in second round (42nd overall). He attended University of Kentucky and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Lamb won NCAA championship title in 2012. He was also voted SEC All-Freshman Team back in 2011 at his college time.


Lamb is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (JSF Nanterre), Montenegro (Buducnost), NBA (Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic) and NBA G League (Texas Legends, Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Westchester Knicks).
