Tennessee head coach Donnie Tyndall told the media Saturday that No. 1 Kentucky will beat the Volunteers by 100 points if they play like they did in the first half against LSU earlier this week.
Here Tyndall’s comments via Knoxnews.com:
“If we play like we did in the first half tonight against Kentucky,” coach Donnie Tyndall said Saturday, “they will beat us by a hundred.”
For the record, Tyndall is taking the optimistic view. He told his team as much immediately after their 73-55 loss to LSU.
“I told our team if we practice the right way, prepare the right way and play the right way on Tuesday,” he said, “we will have a chance to be competitive in that game.”
