Dominique Hawkins has been getting a lot of pub lately with Kentucky assistant coach Orlando Antigua stopping by to watch him practice this past Sunday.

It is really crazy that he has been under the radar for so long because he has been lighting it up all season for one of the top teams in the state of Kentucky.

Last night, the 6’1″ point guard led his Madison Central Indians to a dominating 85-49 win over Franklin County in the 11th region tournament.

Hawkins had 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and used his strength and athleticism to pretty much do anything he wanted on the court.

He impressed me the most when he was slashing to the basket, showing a nice vertical when getting to the rim, and showing that he can dunk it very easily for a point guard.

Jeff Drummond of Scout.com spoke to Madison Central head coach Allen Feldhaus after the game and it sounds like Kentucky is definitely interested.

Here are game highlights of Dominique Hawkins in the win over Franklin County.
