John Calipari said on his weekly radio show that Dominique Hawkins reinjured his ankle during practice Monday.
“I don’t know how bad, but he hurt it again,” Calipari said. “That high ankle sprain is ugly, and it’s one that just takes time to heal. Hopefully he didn’t try to come back too early.”
Hawkins injured his ankle January 2 against Ole Miss.
