An NCAA Division III player named Kewan Platt committed one of the most ridiculous dirty plays we have ever seen last night.
Platt, who happens to be Fitchburg State’s best player, closed out on a three-point shooter. Soon after the shooter released the ball, Platt violently struck him in the face/head with an elbow.
You thought Grayson Allen was dirty?

Platt, who is averaged 21.3 points per game this season, should be done for the season after that nonsense.
UPDATE: Platt has been suspended and barred from campus.
The Fitchburg State community is appalled by the conduct displayed during Tuesday night’s home basketball game. The player involved has been indefinitely suspended from the team and barred from campus, effective immediately.

His behavior is antithetical to our community values and good sportsmanship. Fitchburg State does not tolerate behavior that violates those standards. The case is being reviewed at the student conduct level for consideration of further sanctions.
