ESPN announcer Dick Vitale has a “gut feeling” that Kentucky fans will give John Calipari a standing ovation Saturday night when he returns to Rupp Arena.
“I have gut feeling that BBN will greet John Calipari with a standing ovation on Sat. when he is introduced,” Vitale said on X. “Remember he gave his heart to Cats hoops for 15 years.”
Saturday will be Calipari’s much-anticipated return to Lexington after leaving after last season to take the Arkansas job.
