Legendary ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale gave an emotional update on his battle with vocal cord cancer on Monday.
Vitale, along with his doctor, announced that his fight with cancer is going so well that he is allowed to speak again after seven months of not using his voice.
If things continue to go well, Vitale’s first game back on the mic will be November 28 at Rupp Arena when Kentucky hosts Miami (FL).
