Devin Booker needs just 27 points to become Moss Point’s all-time leading scorer. Booker moved a step closer on Saturday, advancing into second place with 2,225 career points. He scored 24 points in a loss at Hoopfest.
Booker on the milestone:
”To pass Litterial Green, who was a McDonald’s All-American and accomplished the things that I want to in the future is special,” Devin Booker said. ”When we moved here in my 10th grade year, my dad (Melvin Booker) told me I could be special. I don’t think he thought I would be this special.”
The UK signee’s next opportunity is Tuesday, when Moss Point faces Biloxi.
