Former Kentucky guard DeAndre Liggins will continue his professional career in Spain.
Liggins, who played in Greece last season, has signed with Montakit Fuenlabrada in Spain’s top-level Liga Endesa (ACB).

Montakit Fuenlabrada (Liga Endesa) signed 31-year old American international guard Deandre Liggins (198-95kg-88, college: Kentucky). He played last season at Kolossos H Hotels in Greek A1 league. In four games he had 10.0ppg, 3.5rpg and 2.8apg. Liggins also played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce in NBA where in 25 games he recorded 10.8ppg, 4.7rpg, 5.2apg and 1.1spg. He also spent pre-season at the Heat in NBA. Liggins was also tried-out by the Pelicans in NBA.
In 2011 he was drafted by Orlando Magic (NBA) in second round (53rd overall). Liggins attended University of Kentucky and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won D-League championship title in 2016. Liggins was also voted USBasket.com All-D-League Defensive Player of the Year back in 2014 and 2016. He has been regularly called to USA Senior National Team since 2018.
Liggins has played also professionally in Germany (Eisbaeren Bremerhaven), Russia (Krasny Oktyabr) and NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets).
