Darius Miller will be playing in a familiar place next season in the NBA as the New Orleans Pelicans have resigned him to a free agent contract.
Small forward Darius Miller has agreed to re-sign with the New Orleans Pelicans, a league source confirmed Thursday night.
Although Miller was not extended a $1.15 million qualifying offer by the franchise last month that made him become an unrestricted free agent, the Pelicans still made a push to bring him back.
Miller is expected to compete for minutes at small forward with veteran John Salmons, who agreed to a one-year, $2 million deal to join the Pelicans as an unrestricted free agent, and Luke Babbitt, who has a non-guaranteed contract.
