Danville High School to name Mark Peach head football coach

According to multiple sources, Danville is hiring Trigg County’s Mark Peach as the school’s new head football coach.

Peach was 3-7 in his one season at Trigg County after going 114-65 in 15 seasons at Anderson County.

The search for a new football coach at Trigg County High School is officially getting underway. Sources tell YourSportsEdge.Com that Trigg coach Mark Peach has notified his team and school officials that he is resigning at Trigg County so that he can take the head coaching position at Danville High School. Those sources tell YSE that Peach met with his team Friday morning to inform them of his decision.


An official announcement at Danville is set for 3:30pm central time Friday afternoon, with Peach expected to be in attendance.
