Former Kentucky big man Daniel Orton was waived by the Philadelphia 76ers today.
Orton signed as a free agent with Philadelphia on October 16, 2013 and appeared in 22 games with four starts.
Orton was averaging 3.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while playing just over 11 minutes a game.
This is the second time Orton has been waived this season. Oklahoma City waived him in October.
