Over the last 31 years the Florida Gators had some very good teams and they had some not so great ones.
It hasn’t mattered for the Kentucky Wildcats as they can’t find a way to beat any team with a Florida Gator jersey on.
It doesn’t matter if it has been Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer, Ron Zook, or Jim McElwain the Kentucky Wildcats have found a way to lose every time.
Dan Mullen, who aknowledges the streak will eventually end, doesn’t want to be the one that ends the streak.
“I imagine someday the streak will be broken,” Mullen said at his weekly press conference on Monday. He added that it didn’t have anything to do with this week’s game. “That’s the nature of sports. … I don’t want to be the one who does it.”
It will take something extremely special for Kentucky to pull off the upset in the Swamp, but if it was my guess and there was a chance of an upset it would be in Lexington.
