Dakari Johnson to continue professional career in Bahrain

Former Kentucky power forward Dakari Johnson will continue his professional basketball career in Bahrain.

Johnson has reportedly signed with Al-Ahli Manama in the Bahrain Premier League.

Last season, Johnson averaged 17.6 points and 11.1 rebounds for Qingdao Eagles in China’s CBA league.

Al-Ahli Manama (Premier League) added to their roster 27-year old American ex-international power forward (213cm-116kg-1995, college: ). Johnson joins another USA player Lenny Daniel who is already in the roster.


He has played for the last three seasons at Qingdao Eagles in Chinese CBA league. In 25 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.6ppg, 11.1rpg and 3.6apg last season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese CBA Third Team.
