One of the interesting things about the returning players is seeing the support they have been getting from the incoming class. It seems a bond is quickly forming among the group.
Here’s one exchange between Dakari and Devin Booker:
From Trey Lyles:
Looking forward to playing with the bros @dslowmotion22 @AlexTheGreat22 next year!!
— Trey Lyles (@TreyMambaLyles) April 24, 2014
The new guys don’t seem to take themselves too seriously, which should serve them well here:
“@TylerL_10: How Tyler Ulis will feel next year http://t.co/0i8RFgwx2A” exactly
— Tyler Ulis (@tulis3) April 23, 2014
They don’t appear concerned about playing time and invite the challenge even though:
With Johnson and Cauley-Stein back and Towns on the way in, UK will have three 7-footers on the roster next season.
— CoachCal.com (@CoachCalDotCom) April 23, 2014
With the Harrisons' decision still to come, UK will have at least seven McDonald's All-Americans on the roster next season.
— CoachCal.com (@CoachCalDotCom) April 23, 2014
Booker has even caught on to the media bias against Kentucky:
Crazy Kentucky gets hated on for having too many 1 and done players and for too many people returning
— Devin Booker (@DevinBook) April 23, 2014
Smart kids. I think they’ll fit in just fine.
