Cousins, Patterson Put Up Big Numbers in Kings Loss

The Clippers held off the Kings 103-102, despite a huge effort from DeMarcus Cousins. Cousins finished with his 7th double-double of the season, scoring 23 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists on 10-22 shooting.

Patrick Patterson had one of his best games of the season, going for 21 points and 7 boards. He also had 2 steals and an assist in 32 minutes.

The game was contentious as usual between the two teams and especially between Cousins and Chris Paul. Paul has flopped in previous meetings and routinely baits Cousins.

Paul went to shake hands with the Kings’ Isaiah Thomas following today’s game. Thomas was pulled away by Cousins, showing there is no love lost between the two competitors.
