Many thought after the Sweet 16 bracket was set there would be a good chance that Sunday Trinity and Scott County would be facing off.
They are but they earned it in two vastly different ways.
The game everyone is talking about is Trinity’s 42-40 win over Campbell County.
The game started just like the last two Trinity games as the Shamrocks jumped out to a 15-5 lead and the thoughts of another blowout jumped into almost everyone in the Rupp Arena crowd.
Everyone except Reid Jolly and the Campbell County Camels.
The Camels battled back to trail by 2 at the half and I don’t think either team led by more than a bucket the rest of the way.
The end of the game is when everything got really interesting as the Camels had the ball with 4.3 down 2 and this is what happened.

Many have weighed in on twitter about the no call on Reid Jolly’s shot, but what happened after that? Wasn’t there a foul, a walk, or something?
Anyway, the Shamrocks held on to play in today’s championship game.
Reid Jolly’s great career came to a close with 17 points. Trinity’s David Johnson finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
This is for all the state's division 1 coaches. Reid. Jolly. Offer him now.

The nightcap saw the Scott County Cardinals roll over Warren Central 70-52.
Michael Moreno had a big game with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Glenn Covington was hot behind the arc as he hit 4 threes while scoring 16.
