Clemson took an early lead and never looked back as they absolutely steamrolled Alabama 44-16 in college football’s national championship game.
The Tigers (15-0) led 31-16 at halftime and added 13 more points in the third quarter. The Crimson Tide (14-1) seemed rattled early in the game were never able to recover.
