Clemson destroyed No. 5 Louisville 77-62 this afternoon.
The Cardinals seemed to be on pace to earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament next month, but have dropped back-to-back games to Georgia Tech and Clemson.
Entering this week Louisville was #5, had an outside chance at a #1 seed, was the leader in the ACC Standings…… and they lost to Georgia Tech and Clemson.
I’ve never seen a team lose its confidence and mental toughness like that in a week.

Chris Mack just allowed one loss to become two. His refusal to make the needed adjustments are the reason UofL is in this spot today. You can’t win at this level in this league not putting your best guys out there and not putting them in positions to succeed.

Jordan Nwora, who might have been the front runner for ACC Player of the Year earlier this season, finished with just 5 points today.
