Kentucky’s CJ Fredrick and Antonio Reeves met with the media this afternoon to preview tomorrow’s game against North Florida.
Fredrick also gave some insight on why Kentucky’s offense is struggling right now. Fredrick said he has only practiced with Oscar Tshiebwe and Sahvir Wheeler one or two times due to their injuries.
“The difference is when we were getting ready for the Bahamas, was we were just out there, learning how to play with each other. We weren’t putting in any of our sets that we run in the season. It was all based off feel and stuff like that,” Fredrick said. “So when we get back and Oscar goes out and Sahvir goes out and that’s the time period is when we put our sets, we learned to grind with three minutes left what we’re running and stuff like that. So when you have Sahvir and Oscar out, two big pieces, it changes a lot of things.”
