The jersey that Christian Leattner wore against Kentucky when he hit “The Shot” has been sold for $119,500 according to Darren Rovell of ESPN.com.
A jersey believed to have been worn by Christian Laettner when he took the famous turnaround jumper to lead Duke past Kentucky in the 1992 NCAA tournament has been sold for $119,500.
Lelands.com sold the jersey, which it said was given to them by a consigner who was presented with the jersey by Laettner when that season concluded, to a single bidder who has wished to remain anonymous.
