According to Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68, Charleston is expected to replace new Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey with former Louisville coach Chris Mack.
Mack last coached at Louisville from 2018-2022. He was replaced after a 6-8 start to the 2021-22 season. His record at UofL was 63–36 (.636).
Before Louisville, Mack was 215–97 (.689) at Xavier. He took the Musketeers to the Elite Eight in 2016-17.
