Remember former Kentucky guard Charles Matthews?
He played one season for the Wildcats, decided it wasn’t for him and transferred to Michigan.
Today, he played a key role on Michigan’s Big Ten Tournament championship team:
Charles Matthews is the only former top-50 recruit on the court in the Big Ten championship. Both Edwards guys and Wagner were a bit outside the top 100. Lots of these guys (Rahman, Mathias, Thompson) weren't even top-200. Two well-constructed and developed teams.

The Wolverines defeated Purdue 75-66 to cut down the nets and lock up an NCAA Tournament berth.
Matthews is averaging 12.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for Michigan this season.
