Jerry Tipton of Kentucky.com spoke with Stanford A.D. Bernard Muir, who is the chair of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, and he sais he wouldn’t have a problem with Kentucky playing in the South Region as a #2 seed.
Stanford A.D. Bernard Muir, the chair of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, said there would be no problem with bracketing Kentucky as a No. 2 seed with a path to Louisville. No issue with No. 1 seed wondering about fairness playing No. 2 UK in Louisville.

One would think, win or lose in the SEC Tournament, the Kentucky Wildcats will be at minimum a 2 seed and if they beat Tennessee and then win the championship they will be a 1 seed.
Playing in Louisville is definitely a huge advantage for the Wildcats and if they are a 2 seed the #1 seed in the South region will not be very happy at all.
