Kentucky has reportedly contacted Rutgers transfer Cam Spencer.
Spencer, a 6-foot-4 senior guard, averaged 13.2 points and 3.1 assists per game for the Scarlet Knights last season. He also shot 43.4% from the three-point line.
Here is an excerpt from Adam Zagoria’s article at NJ.com:
After entering the transfer portal on Friday, the former Rutgers and Loyola-Maryland star is hearing from a handful of elite programs across the country, a source told NJ Advance Media. The list includes defending national champion UConn, former Big East powerhouse Georgetown, blue bloods Kentucky and Indiana, and NIL-equipped programs like Miami and Texas.
Spencer has one more year of eligibility remaining. He entered the transfer portal as a graduate transfer, so he will be eligible to play immediately wherever he lands.
