A stomach virus didn’t keep the Perry Central junior point guard from scoring 29 points, with 2 buzzer beaters, to lead the Commodores to a 61-55 win over Louisville Male in the Traditional Bank Classic at Lexington Catholic High School.
The 14th region squad was down 13 points in the 2nd half but Beverly wouldn’t let his team fade as he hit big shot after big shot.
