Former Kentucky star Rex Chapman was seen cheering loudly for his Wildcats last night in Vegas.
Ironically, Chapman, who is well known for his block or charge videos on social media, had a front row seat for two ironic calls that ultimately doomed Kentucky’s second half comeback.
First, there was this charge call on a ridiculous flop by a Utah player:

Then, with 22.7 seconds to go, the referees reviewed this blocking foul on Utah and changed it to a charge on Kentucky:

The refs excuse for reviewing this was to see if ‘he was inside the arc.’ What is the ref on the baseline looking at here if he has to review this? pic.twitter.com/04gSJu5gkE

Even if that was a charge, the review should have never taken place. One has to wonder which lines the officials were actually looking at.
