Former Kentukcky Basketball head coach Billy Gillispie is the head man at Ranger Junior College and he is in the process of trying to win a National Championship.
The Rangers, 28-3 overall and ranked No. 4 in the last poll, are the No. 8 seed in the national tournament which is being held in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Gillispie won his first game today over Cleveland State.
The Ranger College men's basketball team kicked off its appearance in the NJCAA Division I Basketball Championships on a high note on Tuesday.
