Berea College surprisingly announced Thursday that the school will not field a baseball team this season.
The email message that was sent out to student and staff didn’t offer a detailed explanation, and the team’s coaches and players were surprised by the announcement.

The wording of the message seems to indicate that the decision is the result of disciplinary action.
