Last Friday, Monteverde Academy’s Ben Simmons got a call from John Calipari and it sounds like it went pretty well.

Simmons, an Australian native and 2015 recruit, is a 6’9″ 220lb power forward who is ranked in the top 10 by every recruiting website. ESPN has him ranked at #3 in the country.
It looks like Simmons could be the 5th offer in the class of 2015, joining Skal Labissiere, Stephen Zimmerman, Charles Matthews and Malik Newman.
