Authentic pulled a stunning upset to win the 146th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs Saturday.
The Bob Baffert horse, with 8-1 odds, was at or near the front of the pack the entire way and managed to hold off a late rally by heavily-favored Tiz The Law down the stretch.

The field was reduced to only 15 horses after a late scratch of another Baffert horse, Thousand Words:
