On Saturday, the Atlanta Hawks sent the draft rights of Alpha Kaba to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Usman Garuba, former Kentucky guard TyTy Washington and draft compensation.
Washington appeared in 31 games for the Rockets last season, averaging 4.7 points and 1.5 assists per game. He was a star player in the NBA G League, averaging 23.1 points and 6.1 assists per game for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
