According to reports, assistant coach Jai Lucas is leaving John Calipari’s staff at Kentucky to join Jon Scheyer’s staff at Duke.
Lucas spent two seasons on Calipari’s staff after coming to Lexington from Texas.

Without knowing all the details, this move seems to be a bit alarming:
There is no way Kentucky wouldn’t match Duke in terms of pay for Jai Lucas
And Jai is a terrific recruiter who brought in Collins, TyTy, Wallace and Sharpe
He left because he would rather be at Duke. That’s not good. It just isn’t

Seeing Jai Lucas, an up and coming superstar in the coaching ranks, be able to have as much recruiting freedom as he wants at Duke is going to be bad news for the rest of college basketball.
