Ashland gets tackled on 4-yard line, referees give them a touchdown

The Ashland Tomcats were rewarded with a questionable touchdown early in their 4A playoff win over Harrison County on Friday night.

The Tomcats (10-1) were driving late in the first quarter when their running back tried to get to the end zone, but was tackled on the 4-yard line.

The error likely didn’t change anything as heavily-favored Ashland went on to win 56-14, but that’s a pretty big mistake.
