Rice transfer Arsalan Kazemi recently listed his top 2 teams he could possible enroll and he visited one of those recently.
Former Rice forward Arsalan Kazemi, who was granted his release to transfer earlier this week, met with Oregon basketball coach Dana Altman in Houston on Wednesday, a person familiar with the situation said.
Oregon is among a list of six schools that Kazemi would consider as possible transfer destinations. The list also includes Kentucky, Ohio State, Texas, Florida and Cincinnati.
Oregon is considered among the top candidates to land Kazemi because the school does not begin classes until Sept. 24.

With Oregon not starting school yet, it will be an easy transition for Kezemi, especially if he wins a hardship from the NCAA.
Kentucky has been in school for a while now, so they will more than likely affect his potential for playing this season if eligible.
I guess we will see if Arsalan Kazemi will visit Kentucky before he announces his decision, but with reports of that being by the end of the week, someone better have a tent ready outside Memorial Coliseum.
